As for only experts being able to run psi-jingle atm, that's partially true; althought it's not that hard to set up, libjingle and psi-jingle are both still raw and unsuitable for production use. Since the gizmo one doesn't currently syndicate with the Google Talk servers, and their users can't connect to GT directly, they can't make voice calls with Jingle. One user in http://forum.gizmoproject.com/viewtopic.php?t=1064 reports, however, that because Psi can connect to the Gizmo servers, he has Jingle from his Gizmo account in that way, which is pretty cool.
