Engagement
February 28, 2007, 4:27 pmWhile I normally reserve my blog posts for Jabber / XMPP / Psi topics, and try quite hard not to flood Planet Psi or Planet Jabber that feed from here with personal nonsense, ramblings and self-indulgence, just for once I’m going to make a personal post.
On Friday 23rd February, the wonderful Catherine Morgan-James had a momentary lapse of reason, and accepted my proposal of marriage. For those who are interested, it happened outside the Palais de Justice in Brussels, yes I got down on one knee (this resulted in a wet knee, as it was raining!) and yes, I presented a ring (which getting to Brussels without suspicion was an almost Herculean undertaking). This is obviously a source of great joy for me, and I include a somewhat blurry photo of Cath’s hand and the ring.
